The Making of our Campbell's of Beauly x Ettinger collection

We recently unveiled our newest collaboration with Campbell's of Beauly: a collection of four elegant flasks, the result of a year-long creative partnership between our two heritage brands.

The idea flourished during the Tweed Rally in November 2024, organised by Campbell's of Beauly, WM Brown and photographer Jamie Ferguson. Ettinger had provided Capra Hip Flasks to guests for the unforgettable weekend that celebrated classic cars, craftsmanship, style and British heritage.

The connection between the two companies quickly grew, sparking conversations around how best to unite our crafts. Over the months that followed, we worked closely together to develop a series of flasks that beautifully marry Campbell's renowned tweeds with Ettinger's fine leather expertise.

The process began with Campbell's of Beauly selecting a range of tweeds that best represented their heritage and complemented our Capra leather. Once the tweeds were approved, our Head of Creative, Emma, created a series of digital mock-ups in Photoshop to explore different pairing options between the tweeds and our leathers. Both teams reviewed these proposals together and once we aligned on the perfect combinations, we moved ahead to produce the first physical samples.

After several weeks in development at the Walsall factory, the samples were sent down to our London office, where they were approved both by Ettinger and Campbell's of Beauly. With the designs finalised, we moved into the final stage of the process: the photoshoot.

To truly showcase the flasks and the collaboration, we travelled to Scotland and shot in the breath-taking Highlands. The rich autumnal colours of the landscapes provided a stunning backdrop, perfectly complementing both the tweed and our leather craftsmanship.
