Burns Night Traditions

When we launched our collaboration with Campbell's of Beauly at the end of last year, we discovered more about Scottish traditions and national celebrations, most notably Burns Night, which is celebrated today, 25th January.

Burns Night honours Robert Burns, one of Scotland's most cherished poets. Renowned for his verses about Scottish rural life, traditions and culture, Burns' work has done so much to preserve the country's heritage that he has become an enduring symbol of Scotland itself. What began as a modest celebration among his friends gradually grew into a regional and eventually a national tradition.

Today, Burns Night is marked not only by the recitation of his poetry but also by a feast of traditional Scottish dishes, including haggis, neeps and tatties.

To round off the evening, the national tipple, whisky is served, a perfect occasion to enjoy it from a Campbell's of Beauly x Ettinger flask, blending heritage, craftsmanship and a touch of Scottish warmth.
