BEHIND THE BRAND

Ettinger Team Spotlight : Claire Laroudie, Marketing Executive

Meet Claire Laroudie, our Marketing Executive and the newest member of the Ettinger team. As the right hand to our Marketing Manager Cassi, Claire has quickly become an invaluable part of the team, bringing creativity, expertise and new ideas to every project. Take a closer look at her journey with Ettinger.

What is your role in the company and when did you start working for Ettinger?

"I joined Ettinger about a year and a half ago, in the spring of 2024 as the new Marketing Executive.

My responsibilities are spread across several different areas which makes my role very interesting and varied. The two main focuses are social media and email marketing, so whenever you see a post on your Instagram feed, or receive one of our newsletters, there is a good chance it came from me!"

Claire plays a key role in the marketing team, supporting our Manager Cassi in executing campaigns and bringing fresh ideas to strengthen Ettinger's marketing strategies.

What lead you to working in this field in the first place?

"I've known from an early age that I wanted to work in the fashion and luxury industry. At first, I considered becoming a designer, but I quickly realised my design and drawing skills weren't quite good enough so I started exploring marketing instead.

After completing a bachelor's in France, I moved to London to finish my studies with a master's degree, which paved the way for me to launch my career in the industry."

What does a day at work look like for you?

Like most Ettinger employees, Claire's days are never the same, a real perk of working in marketing. The multifaceted nature of her role keeps it dynamic and exciting, giving her the opportunity to use both her creativity and strategic thinking.

"Usually, my days are shaped by upcoming product launches or major marketing campaigns such as Christmas. I tend to juggle several projects at once, keeping my days quite unique. One day I might focus on building newsletters and the next, I could be researching content creators for an influencer marketing campaign.

What do you enjoy about working at Ettinger?

"The people are what make working at Ettinger so enjoyable. Our marketing team is a close knit group of three other talented and passionate women and it's a joy to collaborate with them on a variety of projects each day.

Beyond that, it feels meaningful to work for a company so deeply rooted in heritage and sustainability at a time when so much around us feels disposable."

Claire's words highlight two of the pillars that make Ettinger so special: its people and its values. Collaboration and creativity are at the heart of the brand's success, with a small but dedicated team working together to bring each campaign to life. At the same time, Ettinger's long standing commitment to craftsmanship and sustainability continues to resonate strongly not only with the team, but also our customers.

What is your favourite product from Ettinger and why?

"My favourite Ettinger piece is probably the first one I received, the Croco Flat Credit Card Case personalised with my initials. Since I never carry cash, this is the perfect accessory to keep all my cards organised. It also holds a special place for me as it was gifted by the team after I won a friendly competition we held during a sale period. That personal story makes it all the more meaningful and it's a piece I look forward to keeping for many years."

What was the most memorable marketing campaign you worked on since joining Ettinger?

"Since joining Ettinger, I've had the chance to work on many exciting product launches but the campaign that stands out most to me is the one for our Capra Pet Pill Cases in the spring of 2025.

It felt particularly memorable because it went beyond a standard launch, involving a meaningful partnership with Wild at Heart Foundation, a charity close to our values and founded by renowned British florist Nikki Tibbles. The campaign brought together content creators, a charity collaboration, a dedicated photoshoot and even a dog walk event we recently hosted at The Peninsula. It was a true all-around campaign that showcased our creativity and strategic efforts."

Entering the pet market was a new challenge for us and finding a genuine partner to collaborate with was key to establishing credibility. The Wild at Heart Foundation proved to be the perfect choice and this launch has paved the way for new pet products, coming very soon...

What big campaign are you working on at the moment?

"Summer is now behind us, and so is our Summer Sale, one of the biggest campaigns of the year. Now, our focus shifts steadily toward the busiest time of the year, Christmas. We have already held a dedicated photoshoot for this campaign earlier this summer, there is nothing quite like lighting a Christmas tree in August with 30 degree weather!

In addition, we are working on smaller campaigns for the end of the year and the start of the next. As mentioned earlier, we're especially excited about expanding our pet collection very soon."
