'Life is like riding a bicycle, you don't fall off unless you stop pedaling' Robert Ettinger has taken to this famous quote quite literally.

It was 25 years ago that Robert Ettinger and his wife had their first holiday in Greece. Having been told it was great for cycling, they headed off with, as Robert describes it “a pair of rusty old bikes” and set off round the islands, through the back streets and villages that had never seen or met people from other countries. “We had the most fabulous holiday”.

Since then, Greece has become a bi-annual cycling pilgrimage for Robert where he has now cycled through most of the Greek Islands and the mainland, and now travels in style on a British-built Dawes Bicycle.
