The event, organised by Ettinger and with sponsorship from Pol Roger champagne, Barnard & Westwood printers and book binders and Hildon water, saw an unprecedented 120 journalists meet with the CEOs and founders from top British luxury brands (Ettinger, Aquascutum, Cheaney Shoes, D.R. Harris, Edward Green, Emma Willis, Floris, Iffley Road, Johnstons of Elgin, MULO, Seaward & Stearn, Tateossian and Tom Smarte), in what has been billed as a hugely successful initiative.

Media representation was impressive – figures from top luxury and menswear titles, such as FT How to Spend It; Robb Report UK; Spear's Wealth Management; Luxury London; Country & Town House; Savile Row Style; Country Life; Harper's Bazaar; The Field; The Rake; GQ & GQ Style; Esquire; Gentleman’s Journal; The Jackal; Monocle; Luxury Briefing and Men’s Health were all in attendance, as were men's style reporters and columnists from The Evening Standard, The Telegraph, Telegraph Luxury and The Times Magazine. Niche menswear bloggers and content creators, such as The Grey Fox, Mathias le Fèvre, Alastair Guy and Chris Modoo were also present.
What better place for the 13 brands to display their collections, new launches, innovations and craft (Edward Green were hand sewing, Floris conducted perfumery workshops, Cheaney Shoes demonstrated shoe repairs, Tom Smarte were making hats and Ettinger created bespoke card cases on site, for example), than the 18th century masterpiece of Spencer House, with its ornate interiors, recently restored to an exquisite finish, and a terrace overlooking Green Park. Guests enjoyed a Pol Roger champagne reception following the showcase at this invitation-only event.
