We also provide an on-line shop, where customers can buy a range of Ettinger products to be delivered nationally and internationally. Although We have endeavoured to make sure that all content is correct and up-to date, some minor errors may appear, for which We cannot be held responsible. Moreover, because this Website is accessible from many parts of the World, it is in Your interest to ensure that viewing the content of this Website or using Our services does not infringe local laws.

Customer Registration & Accounts

You do not have to register to view this Website. However, so We can deliver the best possible service, You are required to open and/or use a personal account to buy products from this Website.

On registration, You will be asked to provide a password and Your e-mail address, which will be used as Your login. It is Your responsibility to keep Your password safe. Should You lose or forget Your password, please advise Us immediately on register@ettinger.co.uk.

When opening an account, You must give Us true, accurate and up to date information and You must agree to Us using this information to deliver Our services to you.

Although We endeavour to give as accurate and complete descriptions as possible of the products sold on this Website, We cannot be held responsible for the minor errors that may occur.

Moreover, We have taken as many product pictures as possible, from different angles, to show You as many product features as possible and to help You choose the right item to purchase. However, due to different screen resolutions and the complexity of some colours and photography angles, We cannot guarantee that what You see on screen will accurately reflect the actual item.

Purchasing, Pricing & Tax

All prices shown on Our Website are in UK Sterling (£, GBP), including Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current UK rate, but exclude any personalisation, delivery and import duty costs.

Please note that VAT is payable at the UK rate for any European Union (EU) resident buying through this Website, except for those living in certain tax free zones (like the Channel Islands for example).

If You live outside the EU and have articles sent outside the EU, then VAT does not apply and will be duly removed from Your shopping list total as soon as You have entered your billing and delivery details. However, You are liable for any further customs duty (import tax) that may be applied during shipment and We cannot be held responsible for any further costs due to local customs and duty taxes. The carrier will generally ask the recipient to pay for this import tax upon delivery.

To purchase a product, simply click on the appropriate button to add it to Your shopping bag, then continue browsing and/or access Your basket to check out. Then simply follow the guidelines on each new page to review Your selected items, access Your account, set the billing and delivery details and finally pay for the item(s) in Our bank's secure e-commerce gateway (Barclay's ePDQ).

We currently accept most major credit/debit cards in our secure payment gateway, including Visa, Mastercard and Maestro, but not American Express.

Once Your payment has been processed, You will get a confirmation note by e-mail and We will dispatch Your goods once We have ascertained that all product, billing and shipping details are in due form. Should there be any problem with one or more aspects of Your order (for example an item may be out of stock or may require longer delivery time), We will contact You as soon as possible.

Delivery

All Our products are wrapped in tissue and presented in a complimentary hand-made gift box. We then safely pack all Your purchased items in a dispatch box, ready for delivery.

All Our deliveries are made by Our partner, FedEx, using their International Priority service. Some destinations can benefit from next business day delivery, provided that the order is cleared before 12noon GMT on a business day, but most may need 2 days or more. In any event, delivery times are given as estimates and We cannot be held responsible for minor delays.

The cost of delivery will appear on Your shopping list only when You have entered Your delivery details. The cost is for one dispatch, regardless of the size and number of items chosen and is based on the following:

Please note that orders made on www.ettinger.co.uk cannot be delivered to Japan. For deliveries to Japan, please place Your order on www.ettinger.jp. Whenever possible, You will be notified by e-mail when Your order has been cleared for dispatch.

Returns Policy

We abide by the DSR (Distance Selling Regulations) as stipulated by the UK Office of Fair Trading:

- Because You can't see the items purchased before they are delivered to You, the DSR state that You can cancel any on-line order, for whatever reason, unless this order has been personalised or made specially for You.

- You are legally entitled to cancel Your order within 7 (seven) working days after the day of delivery. However, We are happy to prolong this period to a total of 14 (fourteen) working days.

- To cancel Your order, You must notify Us within the set time limit, by e-mail to e-shop@ettinger.co.uk, or by letter to

- Before sending the items back to Us, You must wait for Us to send You a Returns Dispatch Form, which You must fill in and send back with the cancelled purchase.

- Please note that You have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods You wish to return. You can therefore be held responsible for any damage occurring after You have received the goods, including during the return transport.

- Please make sure You return the goods unused and undamaged, with the original gift box (as this will contribute to better protection of the items in transit). Should You return faulty items, please mention faults accordingly in the Returns Dispatch Form.

- You will be liable for all dispatch and freight insurance costs, unless You are returning faulty items, in which case We will arrange for the return of the goods.

- Once You have cancelled Your order, You are entitled to a full refund. We will endeavour to reimburse Your purchases within 30 (thirty) working days.

Termination

We reserve the right to close a customer account in the event that this customer is in breach with these Terms and/or the customer's actions impact Our legal liability.

Governing Law

These Terms and all transactions relating to this Website are governed by English Law. Any disputes in relation with this Website will be resolved in the Courts of England or Wales.
