Bridle hide has been produced in England for many hundreds of years. We are proud to be continuing that tradition.
Bridle leather
has been tanned in England for many generations.
It has an unmistakable patina when new due to the
natural oils on the surface of the leather.
Over
time this is naturally buffed down to give a rich,
warm finish, which actually improves over time.
It is exceptionally hard wearing (and very difficult
to work for our craftspeople) and with the correct
treatment (and a regular application of Ettinger
leather balm) will last for generations.
As a natural
leather the surface has unique marks and imperfections
which give each piece a unique identity.
It lends
itself perfectly to blind blocking so that your
initials can be impressed in the leather.
All the
Bridle Hide collection is available in: havana, black, petrol blue, London
tan, navy, nut, red and green.
